Author Guidelines

For Authors

Pakistan Journal of Professional Psychology: Research and Practice offers a venue for the publication of the most cutting-edge scientific research in numerous branches of psychology as an international, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal. We encourage the publication of innovative empirical studies.  

How to Submit 

Online Submission

The Pakistan Journal of Professional Psychology: Research and Practice is a peer-reviewed publication that disseminates significant original scientific research as well as systematic reviews that fit within the journal's scope. Submissions from all areas of psychology are accepted. PJPPRP is operated through online jounral system (OJS system) and authors are encourgaed to register themselves through the website by using the menu Register.  


Once you have registered and created your account, you can use this account for any future submissions to the Pakistan Journal of Professional Psychology: Research and Practice (PJPPRP)

Submit all the items from the submission check list on Online Journal System of PJPPRP.  

Also submit manuscript along with cover letter, Submission fee receipt, Author Agreement Form, Plagiarism report on official email address of PJPPRP i.e., journal.ccpsy@pu.edu.pk as an alternate review system to keep your work safe in case online system gets out of order. 

  • Go to Register button  
  • Fill all of the mandatory fields mentioned with * 
  • Mention details pf your Institue / Organisation in affiliation field
  • Mention Email (for official communication) & Username fields  
  • Don't share your password with anyone else
  • For Reviewers only, click this box (Yes, request the Reviewer role) 
  • Click on Register button 

Submission Checklist 
To make sure you have prepared all the obligatory documents and you are ready to submit your manuscript to PJPPRP, quickly review this checklist:

  • Cover Page, with required information
  • Manuscript in Microsoft Word Document File, prepared according to given instructions
  • Plagiarism Report
  • Authorship Agreement Form, duly signed by all the authors
  • Evidence of submission fee (a copy of receipt/ bank draft) 
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor). 
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines. 
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided. 

 

Authorship Agreement Form
Authorship Agreement Form must be submitted with the manuscript to show an agreement to the policies of PJPPRP. This form needs to be submitted after filling all the section and signed by all the authors. The form can be downloaded by the following link: Authorship Agreement Form.   

Plagiarism Report
A Plagiarism Report indicating a similarity index < 19% must be submitted.

Note:  It should be clear to the author(s) that editorial board of PJPPRP has the right to accept or reject a submitted manuscript at any stage and also to edit the manuscript for accuracy and precision. Authors are also directed to visit Ethical Guidelines section Ethical Guidelines for Authors for further information.   

Publication Cost
Processing Charges (Non-refundable; submitted along with the submission of manuscript): 3000 PKR
Review and Publication Charges (submitted after editorial committee approval): 12000 PKR
*In case of rejection of article, 6000 PKR will be refunded.
