Peer Review Procedure:

Each submission, with the exception of editorial materials, is subjected to a blind peer review to ensure the quality of the content. The Peer Review Process and Policy section of the PJPPRP website is open to the public and describes how the journal's peer-review process and policy are defined and implemented.

Governing Body: 

The editorial board of the Pakistan Journal of Professional Psychology: Research and Practice (PJPPRP)  is independent and operates in accordance with Centre for Clinical Psychology’s regulations. All editorial board members have extensive professional expertise and are acknowledged authorities in their fields.

Publication Cost:

• Processing Charges (Non-refundable; submitted along with the submission of manuscript): 3000 PKR
• Review and Publication Charges (submitted after editorial committee approval): 12000 PKR
  *In case of rejection of article, 6000 PKR will be refunded

 The PJPPRP explicitly states the article publication fees required for manuscript publication on the Publication Fee page so that our potential writers are aware of this information prior to submitting their papers.

Copyright: 

Pakistan Journal of Professional Psychology: Research and Practice is a peer-reviewed, open-access publication. The journal's website (copyright policy) provides a clear explanation of copyright and license information, and all published articles—both those available online and as PDFs.

Research Misconduct:

Pakistan Journal of Professional Psychology: Research and Practice (PJPPRP) adheres and conforms fully with the standards and guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics↗. To guarantee high-quality scientific studies in the field, the PJPPRP upholds a stringent peer-review procedure and strong ethical requirements. 

The Executive Managing Editor is in charge of taking the required actions to find and stop the publication of papers that have engaged in research misconduct, such as plagiarism, citation manipulation, and data fabrication/falsification, among other things. On the journal's website, under Research Misconduct is a comprehensive policy for dealing with research misconduct.  

Privacy Statement: 

All the names, email addresses and identification detail related to the authors listed at the website and hard copy of the journal Pakistan Journal of Professional Psychology: Research and Practicewill only be used for the correspondence requirements exclusively. It will not be provided to any third party for any other purpose.

Journal’s Name:

The Journal name "Pakistan Journal of Professional Psychology: Research and Practice " is distinct and unlikely to be mistaken for another journal by potential writers, reviewers, editors, or the general public worldwide.

Financial Sources:

Pakistan Journal of Professional Psychology: Research and Practice is a self-funded open access publication that is available both online and in print. The only source of revenue used to cover the administrative and printing expenses is article publication fees submitted to writers. Additionally, print subscriptions also contribute a small portion of earnings.

Access:

The Pakistan Journal of Professional Psychology: Research and Practice is an open-access publication; however, only paid subscribers have access to the print edition.
